JMJ Group Consulting provides support to child care centres that own Centre Manager Pro and Centre Manager Standard (originally sold by Centre Solutions Inc.). To assist centres using this application, we offer telephone support by appointment. Effective January 1, 2011, our hourly rate for Centre Manager support is $85.00 per hour plus GST, with a 30 minute minimum charge. Time is billed in 15 minute increments thereafter.

As an additional service, we have a variety of information helpful to centres using Centre Manager.

Using Centre Manager with Windows 7

If you are considering a new computer and/or upgrading your operating system to Windows 7 and wish to continue running Centre Manager on that computer, you will need to use the 32 bit version of Windows 7. After testing, we have determined that Centre Manager will operate with the 32 bit version but not the 64 bit version of  Windows 7.

Centres Using Centre Manager on Windows 7 (32 bit), Windows 2000, Windows XP

Centres that are using Centre Manager on a new computer running Windows 7 (32 bit), Windows 2000 or Windows XP, or that have upgraded their operating system to 7 (32 bit), 2000 or XP are likely to experience difficulties with Centre Managerís backup system. To correct these difficulties that will occur when trying to backup to a floppy disk, we have created an update. This fix updates the DynaZip files used by Centre Managerís built-in Backup system needs to perform data backups to floppy disks. The fix will allow centres using Centre Manager on Windows 7 (32 bit), 2000 or Windows XP to again perform backups to floppy disks.
